    Ready Made 45-70 BP Ammo

    All,
A good friend of mine has decided to try BPCR Target rather soon. He was able to get some Goex Black Dawg 45-70 ammo but he says its being discontinued. Since time is short finding another source is the way to go right now. Anybody know where my friend can just outright buy Black Powder 45-70 ammo?

    Thanks!

He will be very fortunate if he finds loaded ammunition that will shoot well enough to be competitive...

Tell him not to get discouraged if the GOEX ammo doesnt shoot worth a darn. Their so-called 500 grn bullets weighted in at 470 grn in a couple of boxes I bought...never again.

Thanks guys. Doubt the ammo is the big worry, he's going to shoot either a military trap door or a military Sharps Borchardt at 200/300 and 600.

Suggest you contact Buffalo Arms. If they don't have it, nobody does.
