    Nice test Howard .
I thought my S&W Walther PPK purchased new 10/14/2013 must have been an exception , it has been totally reliable with my handloads and the factory loads I have fed it ,approximately 2k rounds. It has worked with assorted factory HP and RN , a lot of SNS 95 grain cast , and Lee 105 SWC.
    Thanks for posting your test.

As usual, an outstanding yet simple enough test and quite interesting.

The early PPKs made by S&W had a hammer drop safety recall. Mine got sent in and repaired. Along wih a slide stop problem. No other problems with it. It's not something I carry that's s S&W 39-13 9mm. Not much larger and 9mm cost less to practice with.

How neat! I have been wary of the newer PPK's, due to the problems I had with the one I used to have. If I come across a clean 32 acp model, I will have to count up my shekels and see about buying one.
