    something different with Hi-Tek

I have seen where people like to mix their PC colors or sprinkle colors on other colors and then bake. I do PC but I also do a lot of HT and had something turn out interesting looking while not really trying to. I typically do most of my rifle bullets in Bronze 500 but I had a little bit of Black HT mixed and wanted to use it up. I decided to coat some bullets with black as a base coat to use it up. Then I planned on coating with my normal Bronze 500. I ended up doing two coats of black and only needed one more coat (I always do 3). I wasn't sure how the Bronze 500 would coat but I gave it a shot to see how it would look. It turned out kind of a splotchy, almost like tortoise shell look but I like it. They would have looked more like my normal bullets if I did another coat but since 3 is my normal I stopped. I got them gas checked and sized and loaded some of them up in .300 blackout for use in a single shot pistol.

Since they turned out so cool I thought I would share them.

That's pretty cool. I was thinking about doing that with black and then gold, to see how it came out, but I forgot when I was coating last and just did black.

I have mixed Black and Gold 1035 50/50 and call it Texas Tea, sorta looks like oil.

I did some 45 bullets a few years ago, red copper 1st coat and dark green 2nd coat.
gave a camo appearance to the bullets.
    Hooroo.

Never occurred to me to try that, but yeah, that could give some interesting results given that the coats are usually thin so therefore slightly translucent. I'll have to try that next time I do some coating.

Did something very similar with 2 coats of black and one coat of red copper. It gives a nice look.

I just coated some yesterday with kryptonite green. However, my swirling container had been previously used for the gold color. It made for quite an interesting sinus infection yellowish green color. haha
