"It aint easy being green!"
There is a Colt Officer's Heavy Barrel Target .32 listed on one of the auction sites now. Very nice gun with the box.
I'm a S&W guy so not interested in this gun, but it looks like a beauty. The same seller also has a .32 Detective Special and S&W Regulation Police.
I still wonder at the OP's luck. Most of the 32 OM I have seen listed were as much or more than K frame 32's.
[The Montana Gianni] Front sight and squeeze
And I would not worry as much about wear. The only thing that 'hurts' my Python is rapid double action firing. Single action or slower shooting and it will go for a long time.
I have a Colt Officers Model 38 Special that has a 6" bull barrel. It shoots very well mostly shooting 358477 150 gr swc and 3.5 gr bullseye. I would love to have a 32 in an Officers Model of any year/type.
