    ^^^^ This ^^^^. Remember, always change the front sight opposite the direction you want to move the impact. This gets lots of people in trouble. You’ll be like the guy who said “I’ve sawed this board off three times and it’s still too short!”

    There is a Colt Officer's Heavy Barrel Target .32 listed on one of the auction sites now. Very nice gun with the box.

    I'm a S&W guy so not interested in this gun, but it looks like a beauty. The same seller also has a .32 Detective Special and S&W Regulation Police.

    I still wonder at the OP's luck. Most of the 32 OM I have seen listed were as much or more than K frame 32's.

    And I would not worry as much about wear. The only thing that 'hurts' my Python is rapid double action firing. Single action or slower shooting and it will go for a long time.

    I have a Colt Officers Model 38 Special that has a 6" bull barrel. It shoots very well mostly shooting 358477 150 gr swc and 3.5 gr bullseye. I would love to have a 32 in an Officers Model of any year/type.
