One third of the "Little old band from Texas" gone. I remember my oldest brother buying the Rio Grande Mud album long ago and far away. I saw them in concert several times as a lad- always a good show, just rock and roll- no lasers or explosions needed.

Saw them so long ago the only Beard in sight was Frank. They backed up Savoy Brown and the crowd didn't want them to leave the stage. Half hour of encores. Kim Simmonds could play too.

Took my sons to their concert when they came to Ft.Myers back in the 80’s. One of the best times we had together. RIP Dusty.

Saw them in 1999 as a sophomore in high school. Ridiculously good show. And from what I understand, really stand up gentlemen.

One of my friends was neighbors with Billy Gibbons for a while and said that he was a very nice guy and a gentleman. Luckily, I got to see them in 2017 while recuperating from a total knee replacement; my first outing into public after surgery. It was still a great show. He will be missed by everyone that likes traditional R&R.

I seen them in concert in 1983, the Eliminator Tour. It was a great Concert. Some critics gave the album bad press, calling it "Corporate Rock"...well maybe it was? but those three fellows snuck plenty of bluesy-ness in there
