    Going to learn varget powder.

Picked up 2 lbs today. Going to try it in .223 in my bolt action. The rifle does good with 9 grains of red dot out to 100 yards. I found a place on the mountain where i can reach out some. I need to check exact distance with my range finder then. Im estimating 200 yards.

I had good luck with Varget's twin brother, ReL15. I shot great with 60 gr Hornady's but none was as good as TAC, in my rifle anyway.
IT AINT what ya shoot--its how ya shoot it. NONE of us are as smart as ALL of us!

Varget at 200 yards will work well with any standard 223 bullet from 50 to 77 grains. I use it out to 600 yards and found it to be very accurate in an AR-15.

    It’s a winner for sure in 5.56 208 30-06 8mm 7/30 waters and many many others!
Good job finding any it hasn’t been flooding the market as of late and really never caught up after 2013.

Awesome sounds like a winner. My LGS offered some to me yesterday. I turned it down. Then i got to digging. Called today and asked if he still has it. I wanted one. But his daughter bought 2 out. He's keeping powders in the back for his reloading customers. 60 bucks for the 2.

Varget is a great powder in many rifle cartridges but in my .222 it is it. It can shoot much better than I can these days.

Never used it, but partly bc its so popular that it gets harder to find at times like this. I'm sure you'll have great luck with it
