I also just got a 0/U, a old model Savage 24 in 22/410. Not fancy but useful for about anything that aggravates you in these parts.

I just picked up BSA model 12-15 martini target rifle in 22 LR. I got it cheap as it has neither front or rear sights but I intend to make and install a scope base and put a scope on it anyways. The thing is really heavy with a 29” bbl. and a forend long enough to use as a club but I may trim it all down and shorten the barrel until it suits me.
It has a small cheek piece for a right hand shooter and I am a lefty but the stock fits me fine and will not need any modifications. The bore looks great, hope it’s a shooter !

Its been months since I bought the book, "How to scam people online". It still has not arrived yet!

A.H. Fox A grade 20 bore, 28" 3 weight barrels choked skeet 1 and skeet 2, 6 lb 6 oz, made in 1914. Thanks to Jay @ Vintage Firearms!
The last gun I bought was an older plain vanilla Auto Ordnance 1911 built in West Hurley to go with my 1991 1927A1 AO sbr, also a West Hurley gun. Here it is in my unfinished uke case along with a nice Savage. I did replace the plastic grips with a nice set of double diamonds. I’ve since finished the case. Shot the 1911 at out last Wild Bunch match. I like the arched housing more than the flat housing thats on my regular 1911 that I use. Sights are easier to see than the original 1911 sights too.

Double Diamond Wood grips and arched housings are the way to go I feel as well.
The arched housings came out in 1924 from memory to solve the problem of the 1911 shoting low in most hands.
Suddenly the flat housings are all the go???
The grip angle on the 1911s is different from most guns on the planet, hence the need for the arch.
That is one neat set up Cowboy!

Old “Smelly Ugly” has returned- a 1916 BSA #1 Mk 3 that is pitted on the outside and pristine on the inside and bubbafied. I got it back from my nephew in exchange for some small tractor implements.

The last gun I bought was a 1915 Ithaca Flues 12 gauge SxS. Purchased from a friend who inherited it from his wife's family, handed down from the original purchaser way back when. It's in good condition, locks up tight, though the blueing and color case is 98% gone. Krupp Liquid Steel barrels so no worries with smokeless, choked 0.714" R and 0.700" L. Most likely they were Mod & Full when new, but 105 years of use have opened them a tad. It kills them "Trap" birds really well!
