    My Lee Wish List

    My Lee Wish List

This is my wish list from Lee. If you don't know who they are go to their web site.

I like most Lee stuff, although I don't really like their priming tools except for their ram prime which I have come to really like.

    Well here is the list:

[1] Bring back their hollow point molds.

    [2] Make a 38 caliber 150 grain SWC.

[3] Make the flat on their flat points bigger.

    [4] Make a 165 grain 40 caliber truncated cone for the .40 S&W.

[5] Make a 20 pound pot that doesn't leak like a leaky faucet.

Well this is my wish list what is yours?

Wish there was a way to turn the Lee App press into a luber sizer. A star is just something I may never be able to afford.

Bigger selection of .277 molds and some 6.5 molds.

Some LFN bullets would be nice or a line of hunting bullets in all calibers.

    A bigger pot.

A 30 or even 40 pound pot in both ladle and drip varieties.

Moulds in .430 265 WFN, .358 180 WFN, drop the bevel base on all moulds.

Make swaging dies in all rifle calibers, as well as gator gas check making dies.

Set of dippers that fills all the gaps better.

    Full length hand sizing dies.

Bring back all the shotshell loader kits and add wad punches.

Improved hand press that has better handles, larger spent primer catcher, without the breach lock.

Lube sizer that takes H&I dies. Top punches for all their moulds.

I would like them to make some six cavity .30 cal moulds again, that cast full size bullets. Also would like to see them bring back their Target Loader sets, with interchangeable neck sizing inserts.

I can get behind all of this. I like the way you think... lol whats it take to get Lee to listen.

Side note: you can actually 3D print those dippers from. 01cc all the way to 6cc. They are Thingiverse

I wish they would stop cutting the sides down on their molds. They've removed too much metal on the sides for heat retention.

I’m with you on that one. Tried some Lee 45-70 someone cast for me a few years ago and they were way too small for my micro groove Marlin !

.32 wadcutter and get rid of the bevel base on some of their pistol molds (like the 358-158RF and 401-175TC molds).

A Load-All III press with a metal base, and crimp depth adjustment. Bonus points for a Ponsness Warren style die to fully support the hull.

180 gr target 45 boolet, with bevel base. Their 90310 200 bb is superb. It's a h&g 68 copy from the San Diego era. Make that profile in 180. Yea on 6.5 moulds. 6 cavity RB moulds 451, 44

Can live without a LEE sizer lubricator but top punches that fit Lyman and SAECO sizer lubricators would be nice. Some of their more popular rifle bullets in a 6 cavity mold with a correct top punch would be nice too. Option of flat base versus bevel base on their pistol molds would appeal to many (like me) that don't care for the ring of lube on the base.

6.5 and 257 rifle moulds, a heavy 9mm mould, and more available push thru sizer options without having to go the custom route

Lee already makes 150 and 158 grain molds in round nose, SWC, and RNFP profiles.

Will the 9mm cycle this rnfp?

I use the 125gr rnfp but I assumed the heavier one didn’t seat as deep and might not cycle properly.

I used one of the Lee cut down molds yesterday. I will never buy another of their 2 cavity molds. It was impossible to keep the heat up. Half of the boolits had void lines in them indicating the mold was too cold. Casting 309-120-R with 725 Deg lead(PID controled) pot.
