It's been a bumper crop mushroom🍄 year here in the Northwest. We've picked hundreds of morels off the lawn and with the neighbor on his place. We've also found a coral and almost a dozen boletes.
I had an appointment in town today and came back to this assortment from the neighbor. A cooler full of boletes and morels. The deal: you dry them, we'll split them. She agreed. Now we, meaning my wife, has been drying mushrooms for three weeks, one or two trays at a time. She'll fill 8 trays on the dryer tonight and still have to do several more.(We've been getting a very large volume of rain this May.)
