Anybody ever used WSF for plinker loads in a .38? I値l be loading 150 gr full wadcutters. The reason I知 asking about WSF is I have a lot of it. I know I壇 probably be better off with Unique and I do have a pound or so of that on hand.

If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin.

WST is the powder usually suggested for target loads in the 38 special.
Might check the winchester web site and see if they have some suggested loads on it!
Sorry I don't have a Winchester laod book on my desk right now or I'd post the site addy.
Hodgdon doesn't list it on their website, but I don't see why it won't work. I like it in a 9MM. I use 4.7 grains WSF under a 124 LEE rn boolet lubed with White label BAC, lit with a Winchester SP primer in Winchester cases. IF I were going to try it in a 38 I'd start at about 3.0 grains under your 150 GR boolet and see what happened.
