It should make nice, relatively light bullets for the 500 S&W (0.500" groove). They would be undersized for the 50-70 cartridge (0.515" groove). The SWC design would be unusual for a paper-patched bullet.

It is the right diameter for a 505 Gibbs, but really light weight (and SWC).
arrived and casted 2 samples and they measured .504 and 360 gns each give or take 1/10 gn
Sounds about right. A lot of the RCBS molds are spec'ed for linotype. So they cast a little undersized and about 10% heavy.
