    I did something today I've never done before !

    I got my unread post count down to 1 !
    I never could get it down to 0 and it has already jumped back up to 2.

    Nobody can say I don't lead an exciting life now can they !

    I am a little slow about the unread post count. How do you do it? And will I get a participation trophy if I get to Zero?

    I'm a lot slow but I when I logged in I had an unread post count of 12 , usually its in the hundreds,
    so I just kept reading unread post and going back and checking the count....got it down to 1 . Since I first posted it was at 2 and the count is now at 25 .
    I'm not sure how all this stuff works or even why the unread count is there.
    I guess it serves some purpose but I have no idea what !
    My hunch is if you get it down to 0 , you get 0...zip, nada, nothing and/or doodly squat !
    A participation trophy or Tee shirt sure would be nice though !

    I browse for interesting thread then read, when done I cheat and use "Forum Action - Mark Forums Read" to clear unread forums.

    I've noticed that if I switch to another tab for more than a few minutes, the unread count drops unexpectedly. Doesn't change the threads being marked as containing unread posts, but a bit strange.
