    43PU - As Randy said, Parkerizing is meant to hold oil. When it is properly oiled it is very rust resistant.

    I think that Glock slide turned out fine. Put some oil or grease on that puppy and it will last forever.

    After I was done parking it I dipped it in boiling water then soaked it down with WD-40 while it was still hot then I dumped it in a tub of 0W-20 motor oil until it cooled down and I let it sit for 24 hrs after that I took some 0000 steel wool and rubbed it down
