Mine has a good amount of lead in it and I want to add lino type to raise the bhn a couple pts. Going to pick up a HF postal scale so I can do a 3 to 1 mix with my 16/1 alloy.
Well, Midway lists the shipping weight at 4.3 lbs. so that will suffice.

Why not just melt the lead in the pot and weigh it with a bathroom scale?

I don't know, and I hope I never find out.
Precision in the wrong place is only a placebo.
3 pounds, 12.5 oz is what mine weighs.
Thanks - was not going to fool around pouring lead out of the pot.
