Very cool. Casting has always interested me but I may have to pick up a new hobby

I remember an "instrucable" on making your own foundry burner (charcoal and forced air)
using a 5gallon plastic bucket as an outer form to cast refractory cement and a length of 8"
single wall chimney pipe (this is available in stainless steel) as an inner form and 2" pipe for
an air duct and finally an electric leaf blower for the combustion air.
This thing was intended to run on charcoal briquetes and use a 5# CO2 fire extinguisher (cut down)
as a crucible to melt Aluminum, copper and brass scrap.
I intend to make one in the spring.
I want a bronze skillet!
I have a whole kitchen cabinet full of Iron ones.
I also want a cast bronze salmon poacher! those hammered copper ones are too **** expensive
Why do I want a salmon poacher, because unlike bears and the Japanese I don't like my Salmon RAW.

Thomas Jefferson Quotations:
"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
Bacon is a food group! I fry up a half a pound because I usually eat 2 pieces before rest of the meal is ready! Locally made thick cut bacon, half pound is 6-7 pieces
