My first browning rifle a X bolt chambered in 223. I has the threaded barrel and came with a set of 30 mm rings that fit my night scope used but not fired it appears. The guy that bought it had the rings installed but never put a scope on it and traded it on another rifle. He is one of those guys that see a rifle and had to have it until the next new one comes out. I mounted my photon scope on it and sighted the scope in got to shoot it some more to get the feel for it. As soon as deer season is over I plan on going to the woods and trying to get some yotes with it.

Kimber finally won me over. For $700 and the cost of a 50 Mile drive I came home with a Kimber TLE Custom II in 9mm. To tone, no wear, and in addition to one factory mag and all factory parts, it came with Trijicon three-dot sights, a "tactical" extended beaver tail, a slimmer mainspring assembly, magazine funnel, one extra 9rd magazine and two Wilson 10rd mags with bumper baseplate.

I still need to practice, my 10 shot 10m group there is about 2.25" by my napkin math. Still, 350rd the first time out of UMC and Federal 115gr ball with no hiccups.

Been a lot of years since I saw one of those.
No idea if it was the same brand name, but it was certainly the same design.

Received my 308 Compass today. Out of the box, the trigger was beyond atrocious. Messed around for about an hour and got it adjusted to just regular atrocious. How's yours?

Tazman, I had a Beretta 12 gauge of the same design and Galef was another brand. I had a folding .410 O/U also but I can't remember the name of it. This is the first 28" .410 I've ever seen and it patterns great with the old paper shells I'm using!

Brownell's had a one day sale on 16", complete (less BCG) 300BLK uppers. For $209 shipped I couldn't resist. Looks pretty good. We'll see how it performs.Attachment 210528

Shot it yesterday. Trigger was iffy but will probably smooth out. Sub-MOA out of the box with factory ammo. Posted a thread on it and plan on it being my under $500 1,000yrd gun.

That was it. The opening lever also cocked the hammers on the o/u.

Supposedly the same nylon. I've used these lowers to build some lightweight ARs. They mate tightly to the uppers-no slack. It's funny how many folks sneer at these- with a Glock on their hip.

I like those one piece lowers with the handgrip and stock built in. Nice. Good find, congratulations.

I bought couple of the FMK plastic lowers. The lowers have worked out OK for me, no complaints. I also do not own a Glock either. But I own some other plastic frame handguns though.
