In the process of building a new loading bench. I picked out a birch butcher block top 1 3/4 thick and steel legs. It has 3 coats of poly but I'm still going to add more. I just set a couple of my presses on it to see how it looks. So far so good. Next is a shelf and a wall cabinet. It is 30 deep and 48 wide. Beats my old plywood bench. I'll post some more when I get it finished.

30 inches deep is an excellent depth. Enough to keep the bench from leaning forward when resizing yet narrow enough to go thru a standard door when moved. It is my new standard depth for a loading bench.

2 more coats of poly. And almost ready to bolt it all up. Except on Sunday I take delivery of a nice old Hollywood senior turret press. I think this is a 8 hole, with only a couple of large holes. So now I have more head scratchin to do. For sur the Hollywood turret press and the Bonanza coax get bolt down. The Hollywood senior i may sell and the Dunbar.. Both are nice but im running out of room. Plus I have my CH444 press to mount. I'll take pictures next week.
Picked up my little piece, my Hollywood turret press. This one origialy was a 4x4. 4 normal and 4 large turret stations. Paint is almosg 100%. A bit dirty from setting unused for a few years. Now if I make a simple wood riser for it I can mount it away from the edge.
I often mention building/using a simple wooden riser but have never posted a pic.
Here's a riser made from one 8ft 2x6, on a HF grinder stand, under a drill press
Note the bottom wing shelves can be used for clamping/bolting it to the bench, and the top wings used for finished round and bullet bins:
