    Here's a switcheroo...
haven't seen my sister in 30 years, she's here for two weeks. Where do we hang out? Yep, the loading room.
Yesterday she made a 100 .38 spl wadcutters on the Green Machine, she shot them...then she de-capped and put them in the walnut.
She's one of those types that want's to know what everything does and how to do it. Used to drive me crazy as a kid.

I suppose we'll do it over again before she leaves...'little sisters', ain't they a kick in the pants!

I have a "baby seester" too. She is 47 now, but still my baby sister.

I always told her " Kid sisters are like a slinky - not really good for anything, but fun to push down the stairs..."

Disassembled, cleaned and reassembled my Lyman case trimmer. Still working on 308 case to 45 Colt jacket, getting closer. Can not afford the store bought dies so using what I have on hand. Did get out of the reload room to shot some BP, dadburn it was hot, did clean them in the room.

RED333 if you are experimenting with 308 to 45 Colt jacket
Would not a 45 ACP be easier?

or use 40 S&W for short bullets or 10mm for long bullets

308 case is .470, 45 ACP is .480(both at the rim), give or take a little bit on each case.
Getting them down to .452 is tuff, every little bit helps.
I have a butt load of 308, a very few 45 ACP. I do have most of the bugs worked out.
Now working on steps per case, and getting the weight to come out close to 300 to 325 grans.
Got my eye on a new RBH in 45 Colt to hot rod.
I really do not have a way to swell a 40 case to .45, I do use 40 case for 44 mag.

Right now I'm drilling and tapping a stuck piece of 308 brass so I can pull it out of the die.

Saw a new "trick" where you lay your brass out on a towel, spray the lube, then roll them to coat 'em. Guess I didn't get the towel saturated enough. Good times.

Have not had luck with that process, I do split the case so I can roll it out, done a few 7mm mags.
