Hollow point device integral with mold?

Several manufacturers have available molds for Minié balls with the hollow base insert integral with one of the mold halves. It seems reasonable that manufacturers or custom mold makers would have available molds for hollow pointed bullets where the hollow point insert would also be integral with a mold half. All that is necessary is for hollow pointed bullets to be cast nose-first.

Having just pontificated on the ease of achieving the result I want, please identify manufacturers who have such easy-to-use hollow point molds available.

Am I misunderstanding you? If the HP pin is in nose and the sprue-hole is in the nose, How?

    Erick, NOE, MiHek.
they all have them or convert them.
we also have one or two other talented members that can do a conversion to existing molds.

Unfortunately, you are not misunderstanding me. Rather I miswrote. I meant sprue hole being in the heel. For some reason, even as I type, I cannot remember what the correct terminology is.

Fortunately, some responders understood that I typed with my elbows and furnished places to start. And I think that when I visited Steve Brooks, he showed me one of his molds that poured from base to nose. It had no integral hollow point device, but perhaps that memory is the basis for my query.

Again, you are right, and I am . . . will you settle for "less than right"? . . . Oh, all right. I was wrong.

Erik @ HPMS is the guy for affordable multicav HP molds. NOE is also good with a sim product as well as Mihec.

If I didn't have the know-how and a lathe and mill, that's where I'd send a mold for hollow-pointing. Seen pics of his work and read many testimonials.

All hollow base molds have to be poured from the nose section.
UNLESS, they get their hollow bases from a swaging.
All hollow point molds have to be poured from the base.
Unless, the hollow point is formed after casting.
Some molds have pins that SLIDE horizontally to release the boolit from the mold.
If the didn't slide, or be removable, the boolit would never come out of the mold. It would be mechanically lock in.
    Answer your question okay ?
