Hell, I checked it again about 9pm, because sometimes it does come late - when the regular guy is on vacation and a sub is running his route.

Its not all that bad until you're waiting for a stop sign to turn green. Then you got problems.

My mind has been slipping more and more lately. On the whole, I like it. Things don't bother me like they used to and I finally have a scapegoat for my idiocy.

Holiday for the Mail man is a day to reload ammo. Especially on Jan 16 2017.

Walked around the store the other day looking for the wife. Then I rememberd she was in the truck, in the parking lot. I just told her I was looking at the price of a couple other things.

Losing one's mind is very often a good thing.
We need somebody/something to keep the government (cops and bureaucrats too) HONEST (by non government oversight).

Every "freedom" (latitude) given to government is a loophole in the rule of law. Every loophole in the rule of law is another hole in our freedom. When they even obey the law that is. Too often government seems to feel itself above the law.

We forgot to take out the trash in 2012, but 2016 was a charm! YESSS!

I have several clocks around that give the day/date.

Forgetting things isn't so bad, nothing you can do about it, so use it to your advantage.
    For example.
Read a book and when you're finished with it start reading it again because will be all new to you.
When you're aggravated or just plain POed, just wait a few minutes and you're not remember what you were POed about.
Go to family reunions to meet new friends.
Your wife will notice you're not looking at young girls like you use to, because you forgot why you were looking at them in the first place.

The best one I have pulled was finding two handguns in my safe, in the bottom of a big bench job, in gun rugs. I had no idea where they came from or when I got them. That was like Christmas, except it has been 10 years and I still remember the shock of not knowing where they came from, all too well. Plus, I have never figured it out.

never found any guns I can't account for but, a few months back while lookin' for somethin' in my junk/important stuff closet I did find a 100 dollar bill in an envelope that I had/still have no memory of when or why I put it there.
