That's how it's done. How in the world did you kill a deer without a heavy barrel sniper rifle with a 8x24X mil dot? I like your rifle and that buck very well! Best, Thomas.

Nice going! I like the 35 Rem. a lot. I'm currently working on load development, for my T/C G2.

Outstanding, congrats. Here in Ohio we have to wait until 11/28 for our gun season. With all your stories I just can't wait.
Question: Where are you guys getting loading info for IMR 3031? Lyman 4th. edition doesn't list that powder. Sierra manual has it but for use with jacketed bullets. Some help please? Thanks.

Not sure any more where I got my loading ingo with 3031 but it sure works good for me. There is probably something better but I haven't found it yet. I've tried H335, 4227, 2400 , 3031 and leverevolution. LVR works good with 200 gr Rem corelok.

I use vintage reloading manuals for cast Boolits as people were still very interested in cast shooting in those times! The powders haven't changed so much you can't use the data! I'm using 3031 and 4197 in my 38-55 & 405 JESS they are working very good for me.

Attachment 180909 Here is a couple of groups and notes on the target with my 38-55 rebore by JESS, 5 groove rifling. I have dialed it in even tighter since shooting the rifle a couple hundred rounds now!

That is just icing on the cake for a summer project rifle, looks like you got your cake and is going to be palatable eating it as well. congrats
May you hands be warmed on a frosty day.
