The sand colored "bacon grease" yellow powder (from SMOKE) doesn't work for me. In fairness to him, I questioned whether I can use the liquid/slurry with the product he sells. He basically said he never does his coating this way. So i risked about 20 bucks.for a finer smoother "better' coating.
I have coated many thousands of my 135 grain 9mm, and Lee 180 grain .40, and a few hundred 225 grain Lyman 45s always using a slurry . My powder coat is HF white mixed with some black and my medium is acetone. The color I mix comes out a Navy ship gray, almost glossy after baking.
The yellow powder mixes funny pours funny and dries flat almost flourescent, and sticks to the screen, the pail, and the baking rack. I am staying with my old ways. Like my Dad said, the enemy of good is "better".
BTW shipping was fast and the product expertly packaged. Thanks for your services Smoke!
