    Magpul Pmags for Glock?

Anybody try out Magpul's Pmags for Glock 9mm pistols yet? Local fun store has them for $15.00 each, about 60% the cost of OEM. The AR-15 fans seem to think highly of them, I figure it couldn't hurt to pick up good mags for cheap when I encounter them. I see they are planning to introduce a 12 round Glock 26 mag soon that looks pretty sweet.

The initial batches had issues and were pulled. Since then I've avoided them.

Reviews on them on other forums have been a little hit and miss. Lots of problems with the some of the first runs but they should have that straightened out by now. I saw not that long ago Brownells had Glock OE mags for around $22.00 which is tough to beat.

OEM mags aren't much more money. I haven't found a need to buy any. I'd give them a try if they were $10 like the AR mags.

I've had very good luck with the Korean milsurp mags which cost about the same once you factor in shipping. I'll probably pick up one of the Magpuls next time I go to the fun store and give it a try, they seem like a very good company to deal with.

Bought 2 of them about 4 months ago (G19) and used them in a G26 during weekly matches at the local indoor range. They have worked flawlessly, never had any issue with them. Only thing that I don't like is the lack of capacity holes- just one on the side that shows when full.

I did pick up a couple to play with a couple months ago. They have worked just as good as the OEM mags, drop free both empty and loaded, and cost me $11ea. I'd grab a couple more if I actually shot that G19 anymore. After getting a 1911 in 9mm, it hasn't been touched since.

What kind of a 19 do you have? If you ever want to get rid of it I would be interested.

Magpul makes a good product. I'd have no issue trying them out.

I'm on the bandwagon with the others. I have had no issues with them besides they have no holes in the back. I think that they were designed that way to keep cost down.
