    Prayers requested for my mother

    My step-father died unexpectedly today (likely a heart attack) and I would like to ask for prayers for my mom and for his children. He and my mom married later in life and as such I was not particularly close with him but he was always friendly and kind-hearted toward our family and he treated my mom very well.

    I want to ask for your prayers that my mother has peace in her heart in the coming weeks and that she would be brought closer to Christ through this and that she is not worried or fearful for the future.

    Father, Andy's stepfather died today. Please comfort his mother and his step brothers and sisters. It is a very difficult time in their lives but the fact that You can heal and comfort will enable the family to pull through this terrible event. Father, wrap Your arms around them and protect and comfort each of them. Amen

    Prayer up. A very good friend lost her Mom Sunday, too. Sounds to me like he was a good man, and those tend to have good families, too. Hope all goes as well as these things can go.
