I woke this morning to hear the weather man saying something about wind chills in the -50s and -60s. After some much needed mudd I checked this out. Yes indeed we are not getting over the teens today and falling over the next four days. On the up side next Tuesday looks like 36 and RAIN.

Pretty cold here in Brooklyn, Mi. Highs are in the 20's and the high for Saturday is 13. Can't complain as this winter so far has been mild compared to the last couple.

last spring my reliable pie cherries were in full bloom and then a huge snow storm. no cherries last year. i love wild plums but they always bloom too early. in twenty years only got them about twice. our longest season up in these high plains is spring. last from march first to the 11 of june. makes gardening interesting.

I had -22 last night before the wind chill. Right now at noon in the sun its a whole 0 degrees. The wind is really gusting and we are said to be getting into the Teens for tomorrow. Followed by a snow/rain mix Tuesday in the mid 30s. Crazy winter it has been. I hope the real lows are done for the year.
