    Dry lube on factory cast

Sorting through my brother's reloading supplies to sell (coming down with dementia), and came across about 2,000 .358" 158 grn SWC factory cast bullets that were labeled "dry lubed". Anyone know what this stuff is. Looks like they were tumble lubed in charcoal. I was thinking about tumble lubing them in either Johnson's Paste Wax or liquid alox.

There was a product called (Bullet Master) in the 70's that was a liquid when applied and dried to black coating

If there is a manufacturers name you might be able to do a search for them and see what was listed for lube. Alot of the hornadioes and alberts swaged bullets were dusted in motor mica ( white colored dust). Black could be moy or graphite

definitely something with graphite in it. I agree with RG1911. good stuff but ive not used it for boolits, but for locks, reels, and door hinges and such. doubt my answer helped much but good luck to ya.
