Anybody use the TL356-124-TC in 38 Special? I am using this in my 9mm's with good results. They are dropping from the mold at .3575 / .358. Thinking I could use them as cast.

Do they fill the cylinder throat or drop through?
Probably can. I use the tl358-158-2r in mine with excellent results and it drops right at .358 with my alloy.
Sure, I use the 95 grain rf for my 380's for light/fast 38. They drop at .357 and I pc and size to .358
"In God we trust, in all others, check the manual!"
Just measure the bullets and measure the cylinder throats. For an excellent starting place, size the bullets to the same diameter as the cylinder throats ("drop through", "push through", "tight", "loose" aren't measurements. Measure and know for sure what you're working with.)
My Anchor is holding fast!
I don't see why, not.......I'm using the Lyman 120 TC for double duty in my 9mm's and 357's.

I bought a NOE 124 grain TC mould cut for a gas check. Going to use them for 9mm and a Ruger Blackhawk in 357 magnum.
Also hoping to get that 357 magnum lever action rifle I've always wanted ....and you know, if you have the mould....well , that's a reason to get the gun ! That gas checked boolit , cast on the softer side and gas checked would be just the ticket for a little deer or hog hunting rifle !

I have the standard lee 120TC with lube groove, it is THE most accurate bullet in my S&W Model 14, <2"@50 yds.Anybody use the TL356-124-TC in 38 Special? I am using this in my 9mm's with good results. They are dropping from the mold at .3575 / .358. Thinking I could use them as cast.

Probably gonna drop two small. 9mm molds drop to small for my 9mm shooting.

I do ... However ...I "beagled" my mold so it drops my alloy ( range scrap) about 358 - 359.. I powder coat and size to 358... load them to around 750 fps with traditional 38 powders like 700x 231 and bullseye.. and they are good to go. I have also used recluse lube with fine results.... I just powder coat everything now instead.
