Over the weekend I picked up a pound of TAC at a fairly new store in Knoxville, TN called 'prone shooter'. It's out west of town, off Kingston.

    I think I paid $23 or $24 for a pound of Tac.

He had a lot of primers and jacketed bullets, mostly at good prices, too. I bought a 600-count box of .224 75-grain Hornady BTHPs too. Nice guy. I hope he stay in business.

Got a pound of VV N340 earlier in the week. Been wanting to try it in several loads for different calibers but its been OOS for a while. Man is that some clean burning powder. Loaded up a trial batch in 9mm w/ a MP molds 147gr bullet. Nice groups, shoots to the sights and did I mention it burns really clean.

I just bought 6 pounds of H322 and one pound of 2400 from an old friend who has to give up on shooting / reloading. He was an avid target rifle shooter for many years, but he's in his early 90's now and his eyesight is failing him. A real shame ... but I will put his "recycled" powder to very good use. (My .338 / .303 British Martini loves H322 with a 210 grain cast boolit!)
I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!

The local Bass Pro had 1 lb. of Universal left when I stopped in today. I've wanted something I could use for both .44 Special and .44 Magnum, so even at ~$35 with tax, I took it. It's still cheaper than a pound through mail order, as there are no shipping or hazmat charges.

That said, a cheaper local source would be nice. Anyone have any suggestions for Las Vegas?

Found the first 8 pound keg of the year in Unique. $162 out the door after taxes. That is what 20.50 per pound. The local Runnings by me is getting 29.96 per pound of any powder they have in. Picked up some BL-C2 the other day for 25 dollars before taxes. I have never used it before so its going to be new to me.

As I am typing this I just got a call from a buddy who is at a shop far far away. They have Tite Group in stock for 29.98 a pound. I told him I will pass. But thanks.

Did not buy any, but traded some range brass at the gun show for 5 pounds. 3 pounds BL-C2 and 2 pounds IMR 4064. I was happy enough! It was priced at $29.99 per pound.

I got Lucky as all heck, and was able to pick up 2 Lb of 2400 today.
It was the last two pounds that he had out of a 9 pound shipment.
This is the first shipment of 2400 that he had got in in a year and a half.

gunshow had tons of 2400. I wish there was an easy way for shooters to send powder to those that can't find it. I'd gladly send some Unique, 2400, Trailboss, Blue Dot etc to someone at cost so they could get shooting
