But does it clean the primer pockets as well as the pins?
@rodsvet - I am cleaning mil crimped LC brass, and I leave the crimp on brass I resale. So those pockets aren't getting cleaned at this stage anyway.
I generally deprime my range pick up, then tumble. Gets the pockets without pins. After that first cleaning my pistol brass gets tumbled with dead primers and run through the 550s the normal way. Have yet to worry about primer pockets in pistol brass after the initial cleaning. Rifle brass gets deprimed and tumbled every few times. No problems seating primers to speak of on any of it.

Threw away my first mold =/. Dang lee 2 cavity for my 44, could not get the thing to close flush again after the first casting session. Should have listened to the advice around here; the six bangers were awesome though I'd take a chance.
Installed my new Lyman 4500 and lubed close to a 100 452374's. I am liking it better than tumble lubing so far.
Waiting for a couple hundred 12 gauge hulls to show up.
I'm a newbie here. This might not be the place for this input, but I've been reading for about six months. In that time I have learned a lot. From not reloading (except shotshells) I now have a Dillon 650 all set up and reloading .45 acp and today I actually "made" about 275 "good" and another 50-60 "bad" bullets - 452-200-SWC. At this point, filled sharp bases are good and they don't have more wrinkles than I do ANYWAY all this is thank all you guys (and gals?) -- people for your forum, knowledge, and so friendly sharing!

I'm in the process of treating my boolits with Hi-Tek coating, to get away from wax lubes. Ready to load a few to try out on Saturday. Also need to cast a few pure lead boolits for coating.
I attempted organizing my reloading room, but didn't get too far...ended up with quite a bit of stuff from the gun show over the weekend, so now I have even more stuff to organize. Did end up with some decent deals, though. Picked up an RCBS hand priming tool and Uniflow powder measure for cheap, but have to find the primer ram for the priming tool and a baffle and top for the powder measure. Also snagged an older Lyman 55 powder measure, has to be at least 30+ years old. Neat thing is, it still has the box and paperwork inside.
Powder coated a couple hundred 45acp 225gr bullets, along with a couple hundred .358 pills.
Started the process of tearing down 200rds of 38special that I was given. Talk about terrible reloads. I have seen 4 different types of bullets all mixed in along with various degrees of bullet shaving. Plus at least 3 different powders. BEWARE RANDOM RELOADS!
Made my first foray into the 41 magnum world with some mild 215 SWC loads for my 657. When I find the Hornady 210 gr. bullets bought at the last gunshow, I will make some test loads for my Mark VII Desert Eagle.

I want to hear more about your adventure with the Mark VII Desert Eagle
