    New addition to coating

Just got some new blue coating powder in the mail today.
Snowing here, so I figured I would spend some time at the reloading table.
Coated a 38 Special and a 40 S&W cast bullet, using the shake and bake method with BB's.
The red bullets are HF powder and the blue bullets are from Cardinal powders.Click image for larger version.

Those look nice! Hope I can do that good.
I'm waiting on my oven to arrive, then I'm gonna try powder coating too.
Hoping it will cut down on the smoke at the indoor range this winter.

It absolutely will reduce the amount of smoke after each shot. You will be happy with the all around results of powder coated boolits.

Nice! I was very skeptical of PC at first but simple to apply, bullets are still accurate, less smoke & gunk, what is not to like? I'm not selling off my Star just yet but it's nice to have affordable options to plated bullets.
