I'm a big fan of AA#9. My late mentor got me started on A2400 for .357 and .44 mag, then somewhere along the way I got hooked on the #9 for the magnums. Also a fan of #7 for somewhat reduced magnum and some of the "bottom feeders", and #5 for most of the bottom feeder duty. I still like the 2400 and Unique, but the AA powders (if available) will most certainly fill the gap when 2400 and Unique ain't around.
