    Hi Tek in the carcano / gain rifling

    i checked the other posts but cant find anything on the carcano. has any one used hi tek or pc in the carcano im wondering if the gain rifling is going to be trible?

    I've not seen any reports for why any rifle with gain rifling in the twist couldn't shoot lead bullets and coated is little different than lubed lead. So I would say NO to this question.
    Disclaimer: Reloading and casting I only look at cents/round and ignore any other costs

    I had the carcano out the other day it shot a .688 4 shot group at 50m with open sights so that answers that. Now I just need to try some longer shots
