The oct./nov. issue of Machinist's Workshop has a article about tuning a Ruger Redhawk to shoot 300gr. cast bullets by Steve Acker. Covers the relationship between chamber throat size,barrel, forcing cone,and muzzle crown and how to improve accuracy.
Plenty of information and pictures in the article, I learned plenty.

I get both of those magazines sent to the house. I thought that article was probably the best one I've ever read regarding the various modifications for shooting cast bullets in a revolver. Think he covered all the bases. Frank
Where can I get this issue? I looked at the magazine website and saw that they offer a one free issue promo, but I figure that would be the next issue.
