My friend has been casting bullets with these and they make really shiny bullets. Does anyone know what these are?

Looks like the sprues from a skysunlimited buckshot mold.
leaving then the question what is the alloy .....and that ummm could be anything
shiny castings are oft obtained at a low enough temp to "just cast well" ( a close relationship between mold and melt temps with a decent enough cadence to maintain it ) some, such as those tumble lubing, may prefer a wee bit warmer to keep a slight frost going , some molds also prefer to work on the hot side

if it was easy would it be as worthy ? or as long of lasting impression ? the hardest of lessons are the best of teachers [shrugz]" To sit in judgment of those things which you perceive to be wrong or imperfect is to be one more person who is part of judgment, evil or imperfection."
