I am wondering if anyone knows of a source for jackets for longer 358 or 366 jackets? I am looking to find a source for making rifle bullets in these calibers. I have explored buying a jacket draw die but testing the water for other options first.

I draw them down from 223 brass. 223 brass is about .375 dia. Anneal first and then two draws gets you to .356 or so. .365 can be done in one draw. Anneal and tumble in citric acid and SS pins and you have your jackets. 223 brass can be chopped and trimmed in a regular case trimmer ahead of time to get the length you want. It takes a bit of experimentation to get the final length you want. To be really precise, I reamed a nylon 5C emergency collet, inserted an adjustable collet stop in it and trim to exact final length with a carbide end mill in the milling machine.

I'm pretty sure RCE has long .355 jackets available for a good price if you could use that instead.
