I pulled this 30/30 ad up today off of Backpage. This can't be for real, is it??
Ummmm .... that's what some of the guys who read the glossy mags call a "tactical" rifle these days. Just what tactics are involved, I can't say, and they never seem quite able to tell me how they've "improved" the gun, but .... I'm gittin' old, and there's a lot of things I just don't understand these days. Must be "ol' timer's disease" settin' in?

Yep that is the way some view a lever rifle. It sure is a different trail I would want to wander.

add in a 10 round magazine, a red-dot sight, change the stocks back, and I'm in too.
That rifle has been haunting us for a couple of years now, if it were mine I would take all the plastic **** off and put on a nice walnut stock.

The first time I saw one I thought it was the ugliest 30-30 I had ever seen. Haven't changed my mind. The plastic doesn't make it any handier.
