I am sure those are Pachmayr grips. When I was shooting PPC pistol matches in the late 70's & early 80's, many of the law enforcement shooters used those grips on their Colt and S&W revolvers. I am not sure if Pachmayr still makes that model for the Colt revolver. I believe your gun is a Colt "D" frame, but I am not fully positive on that.

    .

If the grips are not labelled "Pachmayr", they are Mershon's (of Tyler T-grip fame) - which company Pachmayr later bought out.

Those look to be the Pachmayer "presentation" grips. Pachmayer also makes the "gripper" and the "professional" models. Brownells has them. I bought the "professional" for my I frame trooper. They also fit my I frame official police. I went with the "professional" as they are smaller with no backstrap cover. I think the "presentation" grips come in two sizes, small and large. Check out Brownells.

Those are easy to find all day long on ebay. As stated, they come in 2 sizes. They will usually be labeled for the python or original trooper but will of course fit the official police. And you will pay some more if you find the ones with the Colt emblem in them. Colt marketed those grips in the late 70-early 80's with the Colt emblems in them.

In the S&W N frame Presentation there is a small and large size. My S&W Brazilian .45 wears the small size Presentation. Much nicer than the large size.

This S&W Brazilian below has the large size Presentation grips.

Here's my Colt Official Police circa 1929 with Presentation grips. (and "Lady" Rossi .38 snubbie).
