Last great day I had offshore, I had the lights going on the platform five minutes after the helicopter landed.

On previous trips, I did enjoy fishing over the handrails after work, though.

I'm an old Petronas fan for yellowfin...before I was a family man. Offshore reefs and the occasional run out to the rigs...I'm jealous bro, but wouldn't trade for nothing. Nowadays my time is invested back and forth between jr. high football, last year of little league baseball, and University of Alabama baseball.

Trying to make great memories for my 12-yr-old....

    Cool story and pics bro!!!

We had some of the snapper for dinner last night along with coleslaw, cornbread and fries.

Born and raised in Vero Beach.15 miles South was the Ft Pierce inlet, and 15 miles North was the Sebastian inlet.Outstanding fishing at both places.Wabasso area was great also.Remember a fellow catching a sawfish off the old Wabasso bridge.Just a little fellow.Only about 14 feet long.
    Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.
