Well not exactly the Easter Bunny but my wife's uncle. He found a 12lb down rigger weight someplace and a box of old Remington 222 ammo. Gave it all to me at dinner today. Much better than Peeps! Happy Easter to all.

I would surely consider that a "sign" that you should buy a down-rigger to use the weight with; and, of course, a new boat to mount it on! Herkimer, NY is not very far from the finger lakes -- where I endeavor to fish lake trout (Seneca Lake) using my down-rigger in early June, annually.
