My favorite prayer of all time is Amazing Grace. It was God's amazing grace that convicted my heart of my sin and it was His amazing grace that offered me forgiveness of my sins. Amazing Grace is my life story.

I have always loved "I'll Fly Away" but for the past number of years "Mansions of the Lord" has been my favorite by far. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2X5VZIkJg6I

Here is a site that has almost any hymn that you can name. It is not a performance site, it has the lyrics and the tune is played on an organ. But if you have the voice for it you can sing along to almost any hymn!
Some are not there because they are copyrighted, but many of the old favorites are there.

    Happy listening!

PS: I don't have a favorite, I love them all!!

As a pastor, I love them all But, I must say that I really like the modern praise and worship Christian bands. My oldest son runs our praise and worship team and really brings down the house with his rendition of My Lighthouse by Rend Collective Experiment. This kid can wakeup this sleepy, stuffy, Southern Baptist church and turn them all into "Bapticostals" LOL

This is not my son but Rend Collective Experiment themselves . . . just so you can hear the song:

If "God's gonna cut you down" by Johnny Cash isn't a hymn, it should be. Just as much truth in that song as any traditional hymn I ever heard.

As we are approaching Easter: "He's Risen! He's Risen" which was written by Carl F. Walther, the first president of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. It is a joyous. triumphant declaration of Christ's victory over sin, death, the devil and the grave. The tune is upbeat and has a somewhat militaristic sound. That is appropriate, as it is the Church triumphant celebrating its Lord's victory.

Hey guys, this is Boaz's daughter, and we sing this in church. It is one of my favorites! If you have any kids gather them around the computer and play this song; they will more than likely love it like it do!
