Mold 300 grs Raging Bull .454 Casull

Howdy folks, what mold in the 300 grs range would you recommend for a Taurus Raging Bull in .454 Casull? I like Accurate Molds very much, own some molds made by Tom. Which would be better for target shooting, 45-300B or 45-300K? Any other suggestions? Kind regards from Bavaria, Bouv

I have a 6.5" Raging Bull and have had very good luck with boolits in the 320-350gn range that look most like the 300B. My best accuracy came in around 1350fps.

Lar45, would you care to share your powder choices, maybe loads? I've got one of them (R Bool) too.
We need somebody/something to keep the government (cops and bureaucrats too) HONEST (by non government oversight).

Every "freedom" (latitude) given to government is a loophole in the rule of law. Every loophole in the rule of law is another hole in our freedom. When they even obey the law that is. Too often government seems to feel itself above the law.

We forgot to take out the trash in 2012, but 2016 was a charm! YESSS!

My load was 26gns of WC820 with all of the 320-350gn bullets out of Mountain Molds molds. All of the bullets had a .400" nose length.

The 45 "Ruger Only" MP mold made a dandy WFNGC design boolit launched with an undisclosed amount of 296 out of my SRH when I had it. Very authoritative to say the least.

It really does not make much difference in the powder ! i have used WC820 , 296 . H-110 all are accurate ! one of my favorite's is 28 grs of 296 @ 1,450 fps, have shot 1/2 " groups @ 50 yards from the bench using a 2x7 scope and 2 1/2 " at 100 yards. with the LBT 300gr gc LFN

For any load at or under 1,100 fps i use Tightgroup powder between 8.0 to 9.0 grs but usually use my Mountian mould 275gr TC or only sometimes now the MM 260 fn gc without GC installed since getting the 275 gr tc.
