    I would be interested also.
One time I tried to buy them from Midway they were out of stock (Seasonal item).
    I don't know when cardboard/styrofoam season is.

    may i ask why ?
i store most pistol ammo in 50 cal ammo cans, one or two gallon plastic bottles. a few low round count guns are in plastic ammo 50/100 rd containers. rifle is all 50/60/100 round plastic boxes. 223 blasting ammo is often on stripper's or loose in ammo cans.
so why spend money buying boxes that tear and wear, spend time putting them in boxes, to spend time getting them out of the boxes ?
    why ?

I use the cardboard ones that my old boolits used to come in. They're just about perfect so I'd be innersted too.

I keep them in ammo cans too but they get heavy. Plus I don't want to load 2-3000 rounds of all the same to fill the ammo can. I load all different loads for one caliber. Different guns like different loads. and the plastic 50-100 round cases cost about 500% more than the cardboard boxes. And the boxes I have been using are not as prone to "tear and wear" As much as factory ammo boxes. They are thicker and stiffer than factory ammo boxes. I can re-use them about 20-30 times before they start to wear out. and there is no guessing as to how many rounds I have on hand for pliking season.

Last but not least JUST BECAUSE

You didn't say what size you wanted. I've got a pile of WCC 148 wc boxes.

not a true ammo box, but something like this :

    might work for your needs.

    Top brass has boxes here:

I get mine in the dumpsters at shooting ranges. I love the looks you get when somebody pulls up and sees you peeking out of the dumpster at them! Amazing what you find in a dumpster. Around deer season, I find boxes of empty high power rifle cases that someone put back in the box, and threw in the dumpster!
