    Maybe someone can use this

Long story, but I was trying some RD311165 plain base TL in my 30/40AI and drove 'em too hard and succeeded in leading my barrel. Decided to 1) not be stupid and load that charge of 2400 again, and 2) to try Ranch Dog's method of dip lubing. For no real reason I dumped a whole bottle of LLA in the pot and added a tablespoon of JPW, warmed just enough for everything to liquify. Dipped my boolits, waited a couple of hours, and used a fired case as a cut-out tool to remove the excess. Let 'em dry overnite. All grooves are full and the stuff is not tacky as LLA can be, especially if you put too much. Won't have to put any corn starch on 'em. Can't wait to try these with some Unique or a lower charge of 2400. GW

    Hey Ho Goatwiskers!

Sounds a little messy to me, but what ever it takes. Have you tried Felix lube for your high speed lead loads?

Yes it is a little messy as you have to use a popsicle stick every little while to rake the excess off the cutout tool and return it to the pot. My eyes are tired, I just read the whole of the thread about Ben's LL and I suppose there is some relationship, mine is not as easy to use. I returned the extra to the bottle, gonna try it as a tumble lube soon. GW
