I think he stirred up some trouble on that thread I started about the move back up north. I know he was posting on it, and it got deleted, but I never read what all was said on there.

Jr, post #15 spells out why the ban, saying (gasp) in your thread probably didn't help either, but he wasn't banned then, or at least I think he was posting after that, I know I got a pm from him after that.
Folks, all I pointed out was that there was some sprue plate lube available on E-Bay. There was no mention that it was Bull Shops, which it may well be and from a second party, how do I know, nor do I care. Was only attempting to help a fellow member out who was looking for some sprue plate lube, OK?

Could be what you meant, but go read the question you answered with e-bay.
It never hurt anybody to admit they were wrong, by the way.
Well yes the question was for Bullplate by name. Not just for sprue lube.
Sorry, I as wrong. Sorry I tried to help, Lesson learned.

Dan almost broke a lubegroove when I published how to make 1 bottle last 2 lifetimes.
Unfortunately I did not discover the secret till shortly AFTER I had received another new full case because all of the previous case had been spilled due to the carefully researched spillable bottles

I have a piece of plywood about 4" X 4" with a small squarish pill bottle screwed on. With a little shim paper the Bullplate is secure. Still, one bottle of Bullplate is never enough, so now I have four more bottles and can sleep!

How to have a life time supply of "bullplate lube".
1 But a 4 pack of food coloring.
2 Pour ALL coloring down the drain and rinse bottles.
3 Pop off the 4 hole top and using an eyedropper refill with the super secret lube.
Those little bottles can bounce like ping pong balls and never loose one single drop.

Can I do that with the 16 oz bottle that I have plus all the small bottles that came with MiHec moulds?

My first tube spilled before I even had a chance to fumble it, was packed with a mould and had a rough ride courtesy of USPS. Had enough left to do the job on that mould and several others, though.

I posted the cure for spilled Bullplate some years back on this forum. It said that after spilling my third bottle on my casting bench and sitting there trying to gather up as much as I could to return to the bottle, I said out loud, there has to be a better way!! I was looking at the floor and saw the scrap 2x4 pieces on the floor that I used to sit my ingot molds on while cooling. I said wait a minute and picked up one that was about 5 to 6 inches in length and put a bottle on it, then I drew a pattern around the bottom onto the wood. I took a wood bit and cut about halfway through the 2x4 and inserted the bottle. I have never spilled another bottle of Bullplate.
I will tell everyone that the NASA lube made by Bullshop was some of the best BP lube that I ever used and I had many a BP shooter switch to it after I sent them some. I just came back on this forum after being away since the spring of 2012 due to some serious health problems. I will miss being able to read and exchange postings with him. Later Cajun Shooter

I'll miss Dan's posts, he seems to be the real deal kinda caster we all need to here from, not the braying egotism of a lot of the posts we see on Boolits these days. GP
