    any one use almond oil?

    found a can for .99 and couldn't resist it. Any one ever use it in lube? It smells good!

    It seems to be used mainly for cosmetics. No info if it goes rancid with time. I know almonds keep a long time B4 going bad. Most natural oils tend to spoil when exposed to oxygen.

    A net search yields tons of cosmetic data only!

    Guess you will just have to try it. I no longer grease lube my boolits.

    Almond oil is a good finish for wooden salad bowls and butcher blocks, in my experience.

    I have wondered how avocado oil works. It smokes less than other cooking oils. I have not tried almond oil but I imagine it would smell nice!
