What do you mean "I can`t get brass for"? What caliber is it? Someone here on the site must have some of what you need.Robert
Is that a single seven?
Man, that's pretty. What caliber is it?
There is always a good reason! You just have to make it up before the better half finds out
I have never bought brass for mine but Factory ammo is easy to find at relatively inexpensive prices.
I paid around 48 cents for factory JHPs. They would cost you around 25 cents to reload.
That makes the brass cost around 23 cents. Starline brass is 28 cents and you will have to wait forever for it.

Actually it was just a month or two ago they ran 327 Federal Magnum brass at Starline. If you didn't get in on that run I'd say you have a wait ahead of you.
FYI last time I looked Freedom Arms (you know, the ones with the expensive revolvers) was selling primed 327FM brass.
Good looking pistol, congrats.

I picked up my 5.5" Single 7 yesterday, took it out today, minor problem with function of loading but it sure does shoot purty. Was using AE 85 gr. Nice gun, just the right size for the cartridge. I'd like it to be a 6 shot but I'll still love it as an "oddball7"!!! I think it will probably shoot almost as good as my Charter Arms Target Patriot; especially when I get it broke to my cast hand loads.
I'm so jealous. I saw brass at Midway not long ago and almost picked up 500 even before finding the revlover anywhere. I expected the gun to be in short supply so I held back.
Man that's a good looking piece,,, I'm going to have to start searching in earnest in order to scratch this itch

If anyone has checked chamber mouth dimensions in these Single 7's I'd be interested in that information.
thanks, Joe
I did not have pin gauges but: A Hornady .312 drops thru, my cast .314 can be pushed thru. Did not slug the bore.
I checked mine.
