Anyone know what it actually costs to ups 1 box of ammo?

I have several partial boxs of ammo, and I am thinking I would like to make them available to people to be helpful (10rds would be plenty toaccuracy check with) and free up space while mAking a knickel. But I have no idea what it would actually cost to ship a half box of 243 ect. Anyone know?

Find someone local to help, the UPS min. $8 or so and the hassle might be to much.

Depends on how far and how heavy but the Minimum shipment is way too much for your needs.

I just calculated that to send 1 one pound package to my next door neighbor overnight would be $68.00

Cheapest way for that shipment was $11.37

The least price Small Flat Rate Box would cost you about six dollars and two years.

DO NOT SHIP AMMO IN THE MAIL.

It's a wonderful thought, but shipping would cost more that the ammo was worth.

A brick of 22's ran me a touch over 20 dollars best bet might be to sell it as a lot so you can ship all the boxes together

    $10 to $25
I've shipped several UPS packages with Ammo.
Cost depends on weight and how many Zone lines the package needs to cross.

While they rarely check, I understand their rules are No reloads...only factory ammo in the original packaging.

My last shipment was 12 boxes of 30-06 to TX (from MN) ...cost $36

UPS wants ammo marked ORM-D, but I sent several boxes without marking it (not intentionally... they never asked what was in it and I never told them). I think the last box I sent (marked ORM-D) cost me $11.

It's worth it to list it on Gunbroker if the ammo is uncommon. I had a guy buy a single box of .25ACP once just because he couldn't find the stuff anywhere. I just listed it cause I wanted it out of my ammo cans. Also sold .32S&W and .32 H&R Mag online in single boxes to people who just needed it.

I do know that shipping ammo USPS is illegal no matter how you send it though.
