Marvel Mystery Oil is a "marvelous" product. I've bee using it for 40 years. It is extremely high detergent. For oil changes, I substitute one quart of oil with one quart of MMO. I also add it to the gas - 1/2 ounce per gallon of fuel. Keeps injectors clean & open.

In the oil, it is such a high detergent that my oldest Honda has 135,000 miles on it. Remove the oil cap and shine a light, and there's not so much as even a film on the metal surfaces - looks brand new in there.

Someone older than me once told me that with regular use of MMO, the body of the car would rust away before the engine quit. I also use MMO in the lawn mower.

During WW II, MMO was used in war plane and war ship engines......

I quit buying fancy snake oils and gimmicks a few years ago.
Mobile 1 synthetic and/or Lucas Red and Tacky can be found on everything I own with exception to my molds. I got a few bottle of Bullplate a while back and it'll last me the rest of my life.
