    Tempted

Yesterday I saw a press on ebay that I came close to buying. It was a Herter's dual ram press. Looked like heavy cast iron "C" type but it had two rams and two die stations. Interesting design and I think it would work pretty good for my batch reloading style. They were asking about $70 + $30.00 shipping. Since I already have 3 single stage presses and no room for any more, I passed.

$70 is a great price. They usually go for $150 and up. Sometimes you get lucky around the $120 range.

One guy has been holding out for $299 for well over a year now.

I' ll tell ya one thing, that press is built like an anvil and will last a few liftimes as long as it does not get left out in the weather.

The only downside is having to buy twice the amount of those expensive shell holders.

But they are still way cool.

Somewhere, on one of these reloading forums, there was a guy who made a special shell holder
to insert into a Herters press, then that will take regular holders. Also I had one made for my
big *** Hollywood press--it sure saved me a lot on shell holders... bigmac
