What's your favorite .41 mag loads?

I asked this question in the CB favorite loads section, but I'll ask again here to get more coverage...

What's your favorite loads, both full and mid-power, for the 41 mag?

Hopefully, there will be something using Unique and a 210 Magma swc...

I really like 6.5gr of Red Dot pushing a 196gr. button nose wad cutter from Accurate Molds

6.5 reddot? That's a good idea for a plinkin' load! How's the accuracy?

6.5gr of 231 with anything from 210-230gr for plinking

255gr LBT WFN GC pushed with near max dose of LilGun/296/2400/#9 for hunting

But I've used tons of boolits and powder in the 41 from 170-265gr

I wondered if anyone would chime in with a 231 load. 231 works well in 45 colt loads, thought it might be a good possibility for the 41.

How about wc820? Anyone using it?

This pretty much mirrors what I do with great results. 4227 and 2400 are my go-to powders with my Ruger .41 mags.

In the past I shot a sierra 170 JHC ahead of 24 grains of ww296. It shot very flat and would still whop a ram @ 200 with plenty of force. This load will function nice in a desert eagle also. My next challenge is using PC with the 215 Keith in the same gun. They're already cast, coated, and sized. Just got to get some time to load them and shoot some video for you all.

For decades, I loaded 8 grains of Unique under either a commercial 215 grn. swc, or my Lyman 410459 boolits.
After getting my Uberti 45 Colt, I switched to Alliant Herco. I load 9 grains in both, the .41, and the 45 colt with a 250-260 grain
    boolits.
In the .41, the load is my plinker/practice load. In the Uberti 45 Colt, it is my max for this gun.
Years ago, I took two deer, 50-60 yards with the 8 grain load of Unique and the 410459 boolit. Both shots total penetration.
For heavy loads, I really like H110. Seems the heavier the boolits, the better it performs.
I have just started shooting the Ranch Dog gc RF boolit. It drops about 260 grains. It shoots accurate (so far) and hits like a freight train.
    Regards
    Jack

I'm with the rest with a Unique load (8.5 grains) and the 410459 bullet. It's the only mold I have in .41 and I see no reason to get another one. This load gets 1150 fps in my 7.5" redhawk, 7.5g makes 1050 fps, with about the same accuracy but more drop.
10 grains of 800X gets 1150 like the unique load does, but the standard deviation is more than double that of the unique.

As for primers, I use whatever I can get, it's not a picky load.

Sorry I don't have a full power load as I have never needed one.

Still working on some, but when I find out which ones I like over the others I will post it up for you.

I just started playing with the cast in my 41, so far it has liked almost everything I loaded light. I have found that AA-5, Unique, 2400 all work well, but it didn't like it when I stepped it up a bit with some AA-9. I knew it going into it though but had to try and see anyway. Simply more push than that alloy wanted is all. Now I got that hopefully under control now just need time to go play.

while you may or may get a load specific to your desire in general - loads for 210-230gr will give you what you want
